For as long as I can remember I have loved being creative, from making my own fashion catalogues as a little girl to watching my grandma sewing on her machine making items to sell at her chapel bazaar.

My creative streak grew as I got older and enjoyed learning lots of new skills at school. It was then that I knew I wanted to be a fashion/costume designer when I grew up! I made my very first item of clothing at school aged 15 and was as proud as punch to wear it.

I spent the next couple of years studying Fashion at college where I learnt pattern cutting, sewing and machine knitting which I suppose led me to where I am today.

From a love of vintage and making lovely traditional babies and children’s clothes Rosebuds and Ribbons was born.

So here we are and thank you for reading my story…
